Business partners by day, spouses by night, Donna & Eddie Gafford are the owners of Wright Glass & Aluminum, LLC. While not members of the founding family, it is their mission to stay true to the small business, family owned, quality craftsmanship that you’ve always known and loved about this company.
Eddie
Owner, installation manager and self proclaimed “inspector gadget” – he makes your vision a reality. He has been with Wright Glass since he and his father purchased the business from the Wright family in 2013. A true professional, it’s his mission to listen to your goals and help you navigate the options so that the end result exceeds your expectations.
Donna
Owner, president and “jane of all trades” – she manages company business and marketing, etc. Although she’s only been with the business since 2021, she has over a decade of experience with the construction industry in various ways… Including owning and operating her own lighting application business, Defining Brilliance Consulting, simultaneously with WGA.
Our History
1959
Mr. Charles and Mrs. Lillian Wright establish City Glass and Aluminum Company in New Albany, offering glass sales, installation, aluminum canopies, and canvas awnings.
1970
Relocation of the business to 111 McGill Street in downtown New Albany.
1989
Sale of the business to Gayle Campbell; continues as City Glass and Aluminum until 1992.
1992
Donnie Wright, Mr. Charles’s nephew, purchases the business and re-brands it as Wright Glass and Aluminum Company, preserving the tradition of quality craftsmanship.
2013
Father/son duo, Ray and Eddie Gafford purchase business from Wright family and establish LLC.
2021
Transition to the current ownership as Mr. Ray retires and Eddie’s wife, Donna purchases half the business.
2023
After more than 50 years, WGA relocates to its present location at 997 State Highway 30 East in New Albany.
